Dom Perignon Vintage Brut 2010
The 2010 Dom Pérignon unfurls with an alluring paradox-an outburst of fresh fruit brilliantly rounded out by mature, toasty nuances. The bouque opens with luminous sweetness featuring tropical notes of green mango, melon, and pineapple. This bright fruit cedes to toasted brioche, almond, freshly baked bread, and delicate white florals. Medium to full-bodied with layers of lemon zest, orchard fruits, and subtle chalky minerality it unfolds with remarkable depth. The brightness of the fruit is anchored by rich autolytic notes and a pearly, elegant mousse. It concludes with a long, harmonious, and mouth-watering saline finish, leaving a lingering impression of refreshing apple strudel and flamed citrus zest. Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2016
Clos des Goisses is the most powerful of all Champagne wines. It comes from a unique, south-facing slope of pure chalk in Mareuil-surr-Ay, whose 45° incline perfectly reflects the origin of its name: in old Champagne dialect, “Gois” or “Goisse” refers to a very steep hillside. This wine, always vintage-dated and with very low dosage, is vinified primarily in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, and is characterized by exceptional breadth and length. A truly great wine as well as a truly great Champagne, Clos des Goisses is particularly suited to fine dining. Mineral and intense, it creates unforgettable pairings with exquisite dishes: game, truffles, caviar, or cheeses. Disgorged in March 2025 with a dosage of 4.5 grams per liter, Philipponnat’s 2016 Clos des Goisses has turned out beautifully, opening with aromas of pear, peach and spring flowers mingled with lychee and a subtle hint of ginger. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, simultaneously textural and racy, with a concentrated core of ripe fruit and racy acidity, concluding with a long, sapid finish laced with lemon zest. While characteristically demonstrative befitting a site of southern exposure? It is not an exuberant Clos des Goisses but rather a harmonious rendition. It shares some of the traits seen in the 2013, though with slightly less incisive spine of acidity. Charles Philipponnat notes that the harvest began on 19 September and that yields were relatively modest. The wine was vinified exclusively in oak-specifically, 228-liter barrels previously used in Burgundy and did not undergo malolactic fermentation. The final assemblage consists of 68% Pinot Noir and 32% Chardonnay. – 3 Bottles per case – 96+ Points Robert Parker

Philipponnat 1522 Grand Cru Extra-Brut 2019
Philipponnat 1522 Extra Brut Champagne is a tribute to over 500 years of history, celebrating the remarkable legacy of the Philipponnat family. Founded in 1522 by Avril De Philipponnat, the family’s commitment to their unique terroirs has remained steadfast. Each vintage of this Champagne captures the essence of the house?s meticulously preserved vineyards, where hand hoeing and horse ploughing ensure that the delicate soils remain intact for generations to come. The vineyards are nestled on the chalky,limestone-rich soils of Champagne, which offer perfect drainage and contribute to the grapes’ remarkable ability to ripen evenly. This rich terroir formed over millions of years acts as a natural reservoir, regulating water flow and imparting a harmonious balance of acidity, ripeness, and aromatic complexity in the final wine. The 1522 Extra Brut Champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, aged for eight years on its lees. The result is an exceptionally refined wine that delivers an intense floral nose, with delicate notes of elderflower and violet. On the palate, expect a symphony of blackcurrant, black cherry, and dried fruit, with a touch of almond and candied nuances. – 6 Bottles per case – 94 Points Robert Parker
